Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your studio located?
My studio is nestled into the heart of our home in New Farm, Queensland. I work from a light-filled space with green out of every window to create my watercolour paintings.
How long does it take to make one of your paintings?
Depending on the size, my works can take anywhere from 10 to 200 hours to create. Each painting is a labour of love. As an independent artist, every aspect of my art (and the business of it) is in my hands and I believe in the value of meaningful, enduring craftsmanship, which takes time!
Why do you paint in watercolour?
Watercolour has held a special place in my heart since I learnt to paint on beach holidays with my Dad at four years old. I am drawn to the simplicity of pigment and water on pure cotton rag paper; the combination mirrors the organic beauty and purity of the natural subjects I paint.
How can I purchase your artwork?
You can view and purchase available pieces directly through the Available Work section of my website. As I paint one painting at a time and am a team of one, sometimes there won’t be anything available. In this case, you can subscribe to my list to receive updates on new collections and releases.
Do you accept commissions?
I take a limited number of commissions each year. My availability for commissions varies around other exhibition and collection work. To sign up for a custom painting you can join my mailing list who I notify first when commissions are open.
Do you offer framing for your artwork?
Yes, given the delicate nature of watercolour I prefer to provide all of my paintings framed. My favoured framing style is a floated mount with a reveal that complements the proportions of the artwork. I use a light raw Ash timber frame and I always use Museum Glass. This is a high quality archival glass product that is anti-reflective and offers 99% UV protection.
Can I request custom framing for my commission or artwork?
Absolutely. On commissioned work, I am always open to discussing custom framing options if you have a particular vision or want something specific for your space.
How are artworks sent out, and how long will they take to reach me?
For original framed works, delivery within Brisbane is free-of-charge (pending size) and for delivery of larger works and beyond Greater Brisbane, I prefer to use a specialised art courier service. I’ll provide an accurate shipping quote and delivery timeline based on your location. Packaging is done carefully to ensure your artwork arrives safely. For larger collections, please allow a two week turnaround from purchase to delivery.
Limited Edition prints include complementary domestic shipping via Australia Post. Please refer to the product listing at time of purchase for specific delivery and fulfilment timelines, as each print run will vary.
What are your payment and shipping options?
I accept payments via all major credit cards. Shipping is available within Australia and internationally. For international shipping, please email the artist prior to your purchase to be sure that we can ship to your destination.

How can I stay updated on new artworks or commissions?
I’d love for you to join my newsletter or follow me on social media to stay up to date with new releases, exhibitions and commission openings. You can sign up for updates via the website footer or follow me on Instagram.
Can I collaborate with you on a project?
I’m always open to collaborations! Whether it’s for a private collection, a commercial project or a special event, feel free to reach out and share your ideas. I’d love to discuss how we can work together to bring your vision to life.
